Digg was told that Chick would suicide out on Neptune & Multi islands, his islands would be distributed within Valheru. After two weeks, no islands have changed hands.

Neptune has been convicted!
He is now confirmed to have created and run the following accounts:
Madoc
Belsarius
Neptune
Redsharks
Ulysses
Surfwarrior
Josh
Randy

He has also been confirmed to have taken over the following accounts and has been running them for some amount of time:
Bloodaxe
Uziel

The final convicting data is that posts from these players that were only minutes apart on Valheru's external forums would always be from the same IP address. If the Neptune and Redsharks accounts posted messages around the same time, they were from the same IP address. This was found to be true for many of the accounts listed above. Often times Neptune would make a post arguing his position and then some short time later one of the other accounts would make a post from the same IP address supporting Neptune's position. Pretty sad that he can't even win an argument without faking support for his side.

Neptune is also clearly a coward as he won't even face the music and apologize on the public forums. He came up with excuse after excuse when the accusations were first presented but now that he's been positively confirmed as a cheater he's gone silent. Not posting but still lurking on the forums where the case against him was laid out.

1. Googling Neptune's email addy turns up multiple references to an alias "redsharks". The same alias used by Neptune on other games and in business conduct.
2. PlayerID are within +-2 of the questionable accounts implies that these account were created seconds/minutes after each other during the creation of the server. ID 927-931 implies the creation of the account from the beginning inception of the server.
3. Same email address was proven to link all the questionable accounts together via a password reset request via email. The email addy was one provided by Neptune for use on the DIGG and IK forum.
4. The information was privately passed to other Valheru admin over a week ago for internal resolution and no response has been return.
5. IP address for each of the questionable accounts all leads to the same city in which Neptune resides despite their attempts to placate that each IP resolved to a different location.
6. Another questionable account Madoc was deleted intentionally (ID 915) after the last stealable isle was obtained by another questionable account Redshark.
7. Supposition: Multiple rulerless accounts also were obtained by these questionable accounts.
8. In times of war, all the questionable account attacked simultaneously without direction from the alliance. This is indicative of a highly centralized command and/or under single player control.
9. Supposition: Uziel account was slowly cannablized for Neptune but it followed the same naming sequence as Neptune's style.

Neptune multi evidence -- The full version

It is always distressing for honest Inselkampf players of this game to hear about yet another multi, but it is particularly upsetting when that multi is an Admin in one of the top ten alliances. More than just cheating, an Admin who is multying betrays not only his fellow Alliance Admins but his members.

Digg has had suspicions about Neptune for a while and unfortunately our suspicions have been verified. He's already been proven to be a liar and cheat when he faked an attack report in a colo dispute (See IK Forum for that discussion).

Recently, by googling Neptune's email address, 2 links came up. Both of these links linked Neptune to the name "Redsharks". One of the links showed that Redsharks was an alias that Neptune used on a different game, while the other link showed the name Redsharks in affiliation to a business venture that Neptune had established at one point in time. This seemed like far more than a coincidence so some additional checking was performed.

We found that Neptune's and Redsharks' Personal Data page on IK listed each other as protectorates, as well as Bloodaxe and Surfwarrior. We also noticed that the player ID's of three of the accounts were right next to each other, 927, 929 and 931. At that point in the game, accounts were being created fairly regularly, so it is likely that these accounts were created within minutes of each other.

With this evidence in hand, Digg attempted to reset passwords on the accounts using Neptune's email address. All four of the account's passwords were reset with the same email address. A third party was able to verify this as well, and a video was then taken of resetting all 4 accounts passwords in succession using Neptune's email address.

Note that this is the same email address that Neptune used both on the Digg forums and the IK forums as well.

While this is a game, there still is an expectation of trust and honesty that all members should expect from their Alliance Admins. For that reason, Digg forwarded the evidence we have on Neptune to V4mp in the hopes the matter would be dealt with internally by Valheru on 10/29/09

The evidence was given to Neptune by V4mp, who replied that he had just changed the email addresses on those accounts because the Neptune account PW was reset. He made no attempt to explain how the Surfwarrior account, which was the first password to be reset, was using his email address.

Neptune claimed that bloodaxe and redsharks are friends and he is only "sitting the accounts". He also stated that Redsharks was a friend involved in the same business venture. He offered no explanation for the surfwarrior account.

V4mp stated that when he looked at the last used IP address on Valheru's forums for these 4 members (i.e. one IP address per member), that 2 of them (Neptune and Surfwarrior) were located in the city that Neptune is known to live, while the other 2 (Bloodaxe and Redsharks) came up as being located in different cities. V4mp indicated which 3 cities these were traced to.

When Digg examined the IP addresses that Neptune had posted to their forums from, the EXACT same 3 cities came up! IP geolocation does not give a true, exact location for an IP address. The process uses various information to try to make an assessment of a location, but it is rarely completely accurate. All of the IP addresses were from the same ISP and the same aggregate netblock, indicating a high likelihood that they were really located in the same region, and most likely the same city. It is clear from the evidence that Neptune created 3 of those accounts when he started this game and has continued to play them for years.

We responded to Neptune's feeble excuses on Friday and provided additional IP information to V4mp so he could check his forum logs. We have not heard back from him regarding the above since that date.

Since that time, we have uncovered additional accounts that Neptune has played in the past and some more that he is likely playing in the present.

Here's how we did it:

A thorough investigation of all islands taken by Neptune, Redsharks, surfwarrior and bloodaxe was performed. First we found that Redsharks took 20 islands from Madoc. The first one (2:79:17) was on Jul 28, 2007 and was a 1000 point island that Madoc had owned for 5 months (therefore not an overcolo). Later on in April and May of 2008, every single island of Madoc's is then taken by Redsharks. The only islands that Madoc ever owned that were not taken by Redsharks were 2 islands taken by JumpingJoe while DIGG and Valheru were at war. The Madoc account was deleted 7 days after the last island was taken by Redsharks, with 7 days of no score changes, so it was deleted intentionally. Madoc's player ID was 915 (remember, Neptune=927, Surfwarrior=929, Redsharks=931).

Madoc had owned a total of 22 islands, 20 of which went to Redsharks.

We then took a second look at all of the player ID's close to Neptune's that were in Valheru.
We found the following players which went rulerless at some point in the past:
Randy (Player ID 923): Out of 4 islands, 3 went to Neptune
Belsarius (player ID 933): Out of 9 islands, 7 of them went to Neptune
Josh (Player ID 934): Out of 4 islands, 1 went to Neptune
Ulysses (Player ID 936): Out of 20 islands, 16 went to Neptune, 1 went to Belsarius, 1 went to Bloodaxe

Of course, 1 island from each of these players would have gone rulerless when the account was deleted, so out of the 59 islands these 5 accounts owned, 49 went to one of Neptune's other multis, 5 sank, and only 5 went elsewhere.

Looking through our forums for some of these names, we found that when DIGG and Valheru were at war, Neptune, Redsharks, Madoc, Belsarius, and Ulysses would all attack the same players as a "team". Of course, team usually means more than one player, which is why I have put it in quotes.

Curiously, RazorReb and falkornthedowntrodan also were noted to attack at the same time as this group, so we must question whether or not Neptune has control of these accounts as well. We've asked V4mp to check the IP addresses of those players against IP address he and Digg have for Neptune. Note that these are still active accounts, if you 2 are not Neptune, apologies, but the possibility must be examined. Again, we have had no reply from V4amp on this.

And lastly, we have noticed that since September 2009, Neptune has regularly been taking islands from his alliance mate, Uziel. Within a week of when Neptune started to take these islands, Uziel's islands took on a naming scheme identical to Neptune's. Between August 21 and October 20, Neptune has taken 13 islands from Uziel. Prior to this time, Uziel had been apparently inactive for over a year, not having colonized an island since August, 2008. While the evidence that Neptune is running the Uziel account is more circumstantial than the other evidence, in conjunction with the other evidence it seems apparent that at some point the password for the Uziel account was given to Neptune and he has been running it and merging it ever since.

I realize this may be a shock for those in Valheru as well as a disappointment. Neptune's betrayal to his alliance far overshadows his violation of the rules. We are still hopeful that V4mp and staff will handle this matter internally but since we've had no communication from them regarding this issue a week after we have alerted them to it we are going public with this information.

As players in this game we've seen more than our share of multis but never in the history of this server have we encountered a multi at such a high level. The deception and betrayal by Neptune of the trust his members placed in him is enormous. We truly hope that Valheru members will unite to make a stand against this multi.

The initial information that 4 account passwords were resettable to Neptune's email address was provided to v4mp on October 28 -- over a week ago. It is disheartening to see the amount of time that has passed and this situation has not been dealt with. Neptune no longer shows up as an admin in-game, but Redsharks is still listed as an admiral, and from what we understand, Valheru membership has not even been informed of the situation. This is too big of a situation to ignore for such a long period of time.

Also, if you have any posts from uziel, bloodaxe, redsharks, belsarius, ulysses, josh, randy, razorreb, falkornthedowntrodan or surfwarrior on your forums we would like you to send us the IP addresses for verification against Neptune's known IP addresses.
